The Sketchbook Project.  As soon as I read about it, I decide to get


For anyone who hasn’t come across it yet, it is an arts initiative organised

by the Brooklyn Art Library in New York.

The Sketchbook Project is a collection of creative works in the form of

sketchbooks that are contributed by individuals from around the world.

Thousands of people are adding their voice annually, forming a library

of over 22,000 sketchbooks from over 130 countries.

I sent off for my sketchbook back in November and was instructed that it

had to be returned to the Library completed by the middle of January –

very specific timing! Even though it is small with only  32   pages, it seemed

quite daunting to come up with a subject and then fill it.  But really exciting

as well!
